After completing this I studied under the influential American architect Stanley Tigerman in Chicago at his Archeworks design school, completing my diploma and professional training at Westminster University in London.
Prior to joining Hughes Architects, I worked for Oosterhuis.nl in Rotterdam in the Netherlands where I gained experience working on experimental structures, a housing competition in the US and a showroom for a luxury car dealership.
Following which I moved back to the UK and worked for Crawford Partnership in London, working mainly on residential projects from high-end domestic extensions and conversions to large-scale housing schemes.
In my spare time, I am a keen footballer and follower of the ups and downs of Newtown AFC. When I have the opportunity, I try to spend as much time outdoors in the mountains as possible. The rest of my time is spent trying to explore the far-off corners of Eastern Europe.
