Daryl Price is passionate and and enthusiastic about all aspects of energy efficiency, building better, and good specification design. He joined Hughes Architects in February 2020 to work with the architectural team on energy efficiency within the built environment, including the practice’s commitment to RIBA Climate Challenge 2030. ‘Sustainability’ and ‘green’ are his raisons d’etre. He has a broad working knowledge of buildings’ Fixed Services (Mechanical and Electrical to be technical) and a detailed knowledge of insulation and fabric thermal performance of all types. The development of energy-efficient and sustainable residential and commercial properties has a positive impact on the local and global environmental, as well as for energy costs and other efficiencies for users.
