This stunning modern home replaced an old house on the site which had outlived its usefulness. The design focuses the view from the living room and master bedroom across the Severn Valley (hence the name). The house combines very traditional techniques such as the oak frame and oak windows with high levels of insulation and a ground source heat pump which provides a renewable source of heat, which reduces the demand for electricity.
