Gareth Flynn

CAD Technician

I have lived in Wales my whole life near the picturesque town of Aberystwyth and moved to the Mid Wales area in search of work and this is where my opportunity arose with Hughes Architects. From a young age I was observing and designing with my Uncle who is an Architect, which is where my passion for architecture has stemmed from.

I graduated from Pembrokeshire College in 2011 where I gained a HND in Construction and a degree in Architectural Design and Technology. I worked for my Uncle for a few years before seeking a new adventure where I could widen my knowledge and joined Hughes Architects in 2014.

I am a keen rugby player and have represented the Scarlets and Wales at junior level and now play my rugby for Aberystwyth in Division 2 West Wales. I venture on my yearly ski holiday without fail for that week break where I can let loose down the slopes and take in the unbelievable scenery.

My fiancé and I are currently renovating a property with the intentions to sell and move to the sea side town of Aberystwyth, where we have recently widened our business covering the whole of West and Mid Wales.
